- Your Beetel modem's IP address will be 192.168.1.1
- Airtel has provided us with their IP address to which we need to dial for internet
Gateway IP : 122.168.48.1
DNS 1: 203.145.184.40
DNS2: 203.145.184.42
- Now we have a linksys wifi router (unfortunately , this has same IP as Beetel Modem and we need to configure this one to different IP for using the wifi router) . So we need to go to linksys admin console and then change its IP to something other than 192.168.1.1 (say 10.0.0.1, as we did)
- Once this is done, connect the beetel ouput to linksys wifi input.
- Now it is time connect your computer wirelessly to the linksys router. Once connected, need to change the 'Internet TCP/IP ' settings for th wireless network. (See the image below for the settings).

hanks, it is a problem with the router. I went in and exchanged thinking it was a hardware problem, but it does seem to be a firmware problem.Linksys Router Technical Support
