Why Study HISTORY ?

I am very much fascinated studying history. But I could see many people are not interested with history and they think it as useless nonsense. So I decided to write the importance of history.

Preventing Past Mistakes: We learn from our mistakes. And what do you think is the mistake?? it is nothing but a HISTORY. By learning your past experience you prevent furthur mistakes. Atleast we know that we dont need any more bloody wars to be happy. We learned from 'Age of Empire' where people had no time to live, but to fight.

History is real and not a fiction: Whenever I go to some historical places (madurai meenakshiamman temple, trichy rock fort or you name it.. any historical place) it gives lots of insight and a sense of unknown-feeling from within. I dont get such a feeling going to movie-theatre or shopping-mall or any such contemporary places.

Remember, you cannot enjoy the historical places without knowing the actual history of the place. So dont go to historical places like a dumb-ass and say it is a f*c*ing boring place.
