- Neat roads all over the city.
- Poor public transport. But people prefer to get rammed inside a Share-Auto & Mahindra-cab (which is cheap ). Also many people own car or atleast two-wheeler.
- Neat Houses with space around each house. Mostly Apartments are found and almost all of them are of 10 floors. I guess there will be around 100s of such apartments.
- Shopping Malls are more than enough for the size and population of the city. There are four malls in the city and many other small shopping-complexes (2 to 3 floors) comprising of atleast 30 shops. ISCON MEGA MALL , Himalaya Mall, 10 Acres Mall, Gallops Mall, Fun Republic, Big Bazzar (stand-alone rather than inside a mall), Fun Republic. There is a Cross-Words ,which is a stand-alone shop, where I used to do window-shopping most of the times.
- Theatres are very neat. No porn-movies in any theatres (it is ture!). Some important Multiplexs are R-World, Fun Republic, City-Pulse (2-locations), I-MAX Science City (India has five I-Max and one is in Ahmedabad). Ad-labs , City-Gold.
- I AM IN AHMEDABAD FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS. STILL I HAVE NOT SEEN POWER FAILURE. Infact your PC's dont need UPS ! Also all power supply lines are UnderGround. You cant see any mess-up of wires above your head.
- Sabarmati river flows in the center of the city and it divides the city both geographically(west bank and east bank) and also economically (east-middle class families and west-rich-families). Around five bridges are there to connect east and west of the city. Important bridges are Gandhi-Bridge, Nehru-Bridge, Ellis-Bridge.
- The road connecting Ahmedabad to Gandhinar(capital city) is of 26 Kms stretch and there is only one 10 degree bend in the middle and rest of the road is strictly straight. Simply it is like a military-aircraft runway !
- C.G road is one more famous shopping road before Mall-culture flourished. Even now there are many brand show rooms available in this road.

Hi sudheer ... I actually thought of giving covering all places in ahmedabad. I had only one photo which shows both bridges (ellis bridge and nehru bridge together). Tats y i chose tat photo.. But don worry I am adding your photo too today :) cheerz...
